Faces in the grid
Welcome to People's Reach Out On Foster-care 25K & 50K Scholarship Programs. Our C Corp's Scholarship is unique in its kind, as in, we allow the funding to go towards any billable item required throughout the students schooling. Let's say a student chooses a vo-tech school at $10,000 and has extra left over. What happens to the rest? They may use it for ANY BILLABLE COST throughout their schooling. Such as, Day care costs, rent, medical/dental bills, a car payment; even food cards can be provided. The student will contact the foundation rep assigned to them, in regard to their need, and funding will come out of their scholarship money.
On top of that, this scholarship program extends to those who have already passed out of the foster care system before 2018; perhaps fully grown adults now who bear children in need of post-secondary education but lack funding. First generation off-spring may also enter the competition. This foundation understands some of the "side-effects" in being raised through the foster-care system and how those "side-effects" can lead to a pathway where finishing High School wasn't possible, and the thought of college may appear too far fetch. Perhaps this pathway will encourage them to keep rising up in life. Perhaps they may just send their now teen-aged children? Or, perhaps, both. Never give up in life! This foundation's Scholarship Program (Faces in the Grid) was designed to live a life worth being remembered & use our pathway to get there!! :)
WHO are we seeking to accept in the program? We are searching for folks who want to do more than have a "job" in life. We are looking for those willing to make a difference in the world & we are seeking folks who have the follow through qualities for 5week competition, complete their ideal educational choices, & show abilities in their personality, in the video submits, to offer believable assumptions that they can complete both.

How the scholarship program works
home life
As described in the video above. Each Scholarship player will be creating a mosaic gift for someone in the world they choose... can be family, school, company head, or the alike.
Then they are placed in state fairs, malls, social media, and the alike to fill their 5,000 grid spots with faces. Each person entering their face in a players mosaic will receive an emailed PDF copy of finished product. So, not only are they helping to send a foster kid to college for the price of a pizza, but they receive a wonderful gift to keep, print out as many copies as they want for their own family and friends. Blessings for everyone involved.
Scholarship programs ranch from $15,000, $25,000, and our largest at $50,000. Photo Grid altered to fit individual's requirements. Amount depends on Grades, College acceptance, general need of student.
Dorm life
Scholarship applicants will
A) fill out application forms
B) SELECT YOUR TEAMC) Start your Photo Grid
STEP 1: Submit your VIDEO!The foundation board members will choose the top 5 finalists. Half our choice stems from their video submission alone.
STEP 2 : The TOP 5
Become a "Team Captain".
Each "Team Captain" will be responsible for seeking out 4 team members to join them in their educational mission. They may use family, friends, churches, schools, or anywhere they may gather up to 4 others to join their team. Thus, allowing us to help them develop &/or gain needed leadership skills, improve their abilities to work well with others, & increase simple math knowledge.
Benefits to Team Players
Each Team Captain is provided a budget of $1/photo entered properly. This funding is provided to pay team players; similar to a boss who has to pay their employees.
As our foundation desires to send as many emancipated foster care, adults/teens/& children of, to college as possible; we incorporated an incentive program for teams who finished before time ran out.
Any team who completes their mosaic, with time to spare, may assist another team on their mosaic grid. Our foundation will now offer $2/photo entered in another team's mosaic. As such, this shall continue, increasing $1/photo on each new mosaic.
Example as follows:
Mosaic A = $1/Photo Entered
Mosaic B = $2/Photo Entered
Mosaic C = $3/Photo Entered
Mosaic D = $4/Photo Entered
Mosaic E = $5/Photo Entered
STEP 3 : CHOOSING THE MOSAIC: Our Foundation believes in sending out kindness, as such, each mosaic created will be sent out as a random act of kindness chosen by the team. A letter will be sent along with the gift explaining why they were chosen. Students are encouraged to choose someone they feel influenced their life the most, a school they have attended, church, hospital, police station, or anyone they fell could use an appreciation gift for the good they have already put out in the world.
STEP 4 RUN THE CONTEST: Over the next 5 weeks, each team will compete to fill their chosen mosaic grid with photographs that come from paying customers. For the small price of a pizza we can change a future! (Each person entering their photo will receive a FREE Mosaic JPEG file of their choosing and some may WIN MORE... Please read our "Prize Page").
STEP 5 AWARDS DINNER: All teams, and their families, are welcome to join the foundation for an awards dinner at the end of each 5wk contest. Prize winners will be contacted and invited to attend the awards diiner as well.

Everyone receives something
Although only those who complete their grids receives the entire $50,000 scholarship; it is important to know that each applicant will receive something based on how complete their photo grid is. As we value the "work for your future" motto we help each team to finish so that they can maximize their own future.
Where does the money go
The WONDERFUL thing about our programs is that any money raised in their scholarship program can be used for ANY BILLABLE item during their post-secondary education time frame. These include, but are not limited to, gas or food cards, day-care, transportation, medical & dental expenses. But wait, there's more! What happens if there is still "left over funds" raised at the end of their schooling... Then what happens to those funds? Well, anything left over at the end of their schooling is used to help them get their first real feet on the ground with helping them to put a down payment on their first starter home.
What happens after the program
Those in the system will be invited back each holiday, birthday, and anytime life falls on them where they need a "couch to sleep on". All too often, those who emanciapate out of the system, end up homeless within the first 3 years of leaving the system. When life dumps on families the children can go back home to mom. However, these folks don't always have this option presented to them. So, we are working on providing a pathway "home". This will start happening when we achieve our 3–5-year goal of renovating a MN building into living spaces for those in the system to stay at during their post-secondary education time frame.
